The system of visual communication presents inherited and accumulated image of SAMYANG International Inc. The symbol mark of SAMYANG performs functions in building trust. The image mark, SY, consists of initials of SAMYANG. The square symbolizes stability and order. Its rounded edges symbolize developing employees’ vision in stable environment.
The symbol mark plays a key role in representing and promoting the image and awareness of the corporation in various forms of media. Therefore, it is important that the combinations, colors and proportions comply with general CI guidelines.
Color Usage of Symbol Mark
The symbol mark of SAMYANG International is a key component of the company’s CI for use in all forms of media. The colors of the symbol mark are navy blue, light blue, golden color and black. Various usages are allowed depending on the media.

Along with the symbol mark, the signature of SAMYANG is a key component of the company CI for use in all forms of media.
The signature is designed in accordance with the basic form of the symbol mark. Basically, the signature should be used with the symbol mark. To use the signature separately is restrictively allowed. All signatures can be used as positive or converted negative images.

Combination of symbol mark and signatures is an important part of company’s CI for promotion of its image and awareness, designed for effective communication per type of media. It is important that the combinations, colors and proportions comply with the guidelines.

The CI’s main colors, supporting colors and combination colors can be produced by CMYK color or spot color system. Reproduced colors can be different depending on color ingredients and background material.
Particular attention should be paid to minimize variations to brightness of the colors, by making references to the color samples. The specified mixing ratio of the 4-color process(CMYK) must be strictly followed. Use of Pantone Color coding or numbering is recommended.
